June 13, 2007

CELTIC FROST frontman Tom Gabriel Fischer was recently interviewed by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Listen to the interview in streaming audio at the Triple J web site: Windows Media, Real Media (NOTE: The Tom Gabriel Fischer interview begins at around the one-hour, 46-minute mark). Check out the show's entire playlist at this location.

After touring Europe extensively on the band's first release in 13 years, "Monotheist", the group chose Australia as the finale to this monstrous trek.

Commented Fischer: "Performing in Australia was something we merely dreamt of when playing in HELLHAMMER, so it seems to be a fitting end to the 'Monotheist' tour to be playing these shows".

CELTIC FROST Australian tour dates:

June 13 - Sydney, AUS - Manning Bar Sydney
June 14 - Melbourne, AUS - The Prince Melbourne
